What is an eStatement? Our eStatement service provides you with secure electronic delivery of your checking and savings account statements. What are the benefits of receiving an eStatement?
How can I begin receiving eStatements? It’s easy…just complete a short eStatements Application Form. Is there any software required on my PC? It is necessary to have Adobe Reader 5.0 or above installed on your PC in order to view your statement. If you don’t already have Adobe Reader, you may obtain a free copy by visiting http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html and selecting the Free Adobe Reader under the Download section. It is also recommended that Internet Explorer 5.5 or above be installed on your PC….to download a free copy go to www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx . How will I know that my eStatement is available? You will receive an email notification at the email address you provided on your eStatement Application Form letting you know that your eStatement is available. When will I receive my eStatement(s)? You will receive an email notification a few days earlier than you normally receive your statement in the mail. How do I retrieve my eStatement(s)? You will be able to retrieve your statement(s) by clicking on the link provided in the email notification, directing you to The Peoples Bank eStatements log in screen. Can I have my eStatement(s) sent to more than one email address? Yes, we can send your eStatements to multiple email addresses however, an eStatement Application Form will be required for each email address and each must have a different User ID. When will I receive my first eStatement? You will receive your next regularly scheduled statement as an eStatement unless it is scheduled within a few days of us receiving your completed application. In that situation, you will receive the next month’s statement as an eStatement. Will I also receive a paper copy of my statement in the mail? You will no longer receive a paper copy, but you will have the option of printing or downloading your eStatement. Will I still be able to retrieve my eStatements if I delete the email notification? Yes, you will be able to access your eStatements by going to https://estatements.tpbonline.com/WebEMS. It’s a good idea to save this link in your “Favorites” or bookmark it for future use. How long will I be able to access previous eStatements? Your eStatements will be available for a period of twelve months from the time you view an eStatement. Will I be able to revert back to receiving a paper copy of my statement in the mail? Yes, you may discontinue the receipt of eStatements at any time by notifying us via email at estatements@tpbonline.com or in writing to our Customer Support Department, P. O. Box 788, Winder, Georgia 30680. Will I be able to change my password? Yes, you may change your password at any time by clicking on the “Change Password” link. We recommend you change your password the first time you log in to an alpha-numeric eight to twelve character password and that you change the password periodically. Who do I contact if I forget my password or get locked out? If you forget your password, get locked out or are having difficulty, please contact the Customer Support Department at 770-867-9111 during our normal business hours. Who do I contact if my email address changes? You may notify us by email at estatements@tpbonline.com or by contacting the Customer Support Department at 770-867-9111. If the email notification is returned to us as undeliverable, we will try to contact you. If we are unable to contact you, we will change your eStatements back to paper statements sent by US Mail.
