The WISE Club - Ages 4-12

The Peoples Bank offers a savings account for children from ages 4-12. It is called the WISE Club Account which stands for Winning In Savings Education. The Peoples Bank also has a bank mascot - Oscar the Owl.

The Peoples Bank will send bank representatives to participating schools on their designated Deposit Day. When you make a deposit at the school, you will receive a prize from Oscar's treasure nest.

Hey, kids! What are you saving your money for? A new bike? Skate board? A mp3 player? A cell phone? A car when you grow up? A college education?

You will reach your goal faster by putting your money into a savings account, instead of a piggy bank because The Peoples Bank pays you interest on your money while it is in the bank. This is money you can earn based on your account balance. Whenever you need the money, we give it back to you, but it has "grown" because of the interest we pay into the account every three months.
